Michael Vaughan wants to take the pressure off Andrew Flintoff as England prepare for the second Test against South Africa. Flintoff is back in the England squad for the first time since the final Ashes Test in Australia in January 2007. His recall after ankle and side injuries has created excitement but Vaughan does not expect too much from the all-rounder. Vaughan said: "I think we're building him up a bit too much, which is a bit unfair on him. "He's had 18 months out of the game, he's come back for Lancashire and done reasonably well but he's not a wizard, he's not going to come and sprinkle dust, he's just going to come and perform how he can. "I don't want to put him under any more pressure. He just needs to come and bowl like he does and, we hope, whack it like he does and try to get his level of performance to what it was before, but it might take him a little bit of time to adjust."
